Johannes Honecker   studied conducting with Prof. Peter Dijkstra and Prof. Florian Helgath at the Cologne University of Music and Dance.

Regular engagements have taken him to well-known ensembles, including Chorwerk Ruhr, the WDR Radio Choir and the Zurich Singakademie.

He is the artistic director of the concert choir tonart and the Madrigalchor Aachen. He is currently a scholarship holder of the German Music Council in Forum Dirigieren.
